La Noel

About ME

My name is Noel, and I have dedicated the last 28 years to advocacy and service as a social worker. I hold a Master of Social Work degree and am currently a few steps away from licensure.

My journey as a writer began in 1994 when I completed my first project, titled ‘All I Need Is a True Opportunity.’ Since then, I have continued to write, creating poetry and reflections that explore authenticity, humanity, and the challenges of finding one’s voice in a complex world.

Over the years, I have been invited to share my work on stages and in communities where people have connected with my message. At many of these events, I promised my audiences that one day I would publish the book they encouraged me to write. Their support, along with the purchase of individual poems, helped sustain that vision.

To everyone who has listened, supported my work, purchased a poem, or believed in my message, I offer my sincere gratitude. This book is as much a reflection of that shared journey as it is of my own experiences.

Thank you for believing in the power of words, truth, and human connection.
